David Moyson, WEM’s Regional Business Director, was part of the team that presented the No-Code Cloud platform at Web Summit Rio last April. WEM is the No-Code development platform, headquartered in the Netherlands, that was born with the purpose of democratizing software to boost business, and is a strategic ally of Connectis.

No-Code Cloud (NCC) is considered by many a very strong solution, which has now become a trend allowing companies to achieve the business objectives and KPI’s they set themselves, at very high speed and without a large investment. NCC includes Generative AI, and in this interview we wanted to know what the benefits are of incorporating Artificial Intelligence into the No-Code Cloud platform.

Specifically, what does Artificial Intelligence (AI) bring to the NCC platform?

NCC allows you to integrate AI into any company application, workflow or process. This means that it is no longer necessary to develop a complete, heavy and expensive tool, to achieve, for example, an agile, predictive reporting system or some other AI driven tool focused on the aspects that each business area needs. You can identify specific points in your workflows where you can have help from artificial intelligence and then you can go live within no time.

For example, if you need salespeople to give good customer support, knowing what they should propose to a customer based on what he expresses, what he needs, and what he prefers, you can offer assistance to the salesperson in choosing from a catalog of, say, 200 products the alternatives that best suit a specific customer. Sales teams are very good, but no one can have 200 products in their head to present at any given moment. An AI system can do this with ease and efficiency.

In our demo at Web Summit Rio, we perform sentiment analysis to determine a customer’s emotional state based on the language they use. We can identify if they are happy, angry, or considering whether to continue or cancel services, among other things. Thanks to AI, we can analyze customer interactions through emails, calls, or visits and create a no-code application to respond to each customer based on their emotions.

Is this a topic that is requested by customers?

Of course. One of the main challenges for many companies that work with users or customers is the relationship with them, aiming to turn it into a satisfying experience that contributes to customer loyalty. Using the NCC platform and AI, it is possible to personalize customer relationships by creating an action plan tailored to each situation.

Retaining customers is a top priority and minimizing churn is on the radar of any company. We can deliver these types of very intelligent solutions, fully customized to the needs of the individual business.

Does Chat GPT have a place on NCC platforms?

I think ChatGPT has been one of the big news stories in technology this year because it has pushed our imaginations to the limit and because it has brought language models closer to the general population. The applications that can be built with the addition of AI to NCC make the best of the large language models but without the high cost, risk and complexity normally involved. With this, companies can exponentially improve their results in customer retention, risk control, business intelligence, customer spending prediction, sales team training, and others.

And finally, how would you summarize the opportunities that the NCC platform and the integration of Artificial Intelligence open up?

I think that the great news that NCC brings is that it manages to simplify and speed up the process of creating personalized, secure and efficient solutions. This means that companies will be more competitive and that their customers can get a better experience.

And regarding the integration of Artificial Intelligence, the most remarkable thing is that NCC can seamlessly incorporate this new technology revolution. With NCC you can build state-of-the-art applications that integrate into existing workflows and can enhance legacy applications as well.

“In short, it is a new era that is just beginning to be implemented and that will have a spectacular development“.
